LA Art Show: Modern & Contemporary

The LA Art Show, the 180,000 square foot art fair that welcomed close to 60,000 art enthusiasts for its 20th anniversary edition 2015, will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 27-31, 2016.

The LA Art Show was designed with the true collector in mind, showcasing many artistic genres and styles to capture the essence of the ever-evolving art market.  The LA Art Show was developed with the understanding that collector tastes change through time. A person may first be drawn to contemporary painting, but move to an appreciation of mixed media, or even traditional / representational works.  Each year the LA Art Show’s selection committee curates the gallery roster to provide a balance of art where people can see how different movements progressed or branched out into differing genres.

In recent years, the LA Art Show has become the most internationally diverse art platform in the Western world, bringing in the largest groupings of Korean, Chinese and Japanese galleries outside of Asia. Beginning in 2010, the Show has actively developed its international gallery offerings to provide collectors with a unique opportunity, to spot international trends and zeitgeist through art, a medium that has the ability to transcend language. The 2016 edition of the LA Art Show will feature more than 80 galleries representing 20 countries from the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
