The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) is a cavernous complex, hosting dozens of America's largest events each year.

Auto shows are tricky, but ultimately standard fare. Exhibitions? Sure. The E3 technology expo? No problem.

A week of world-class horses? That's a challenge.
